AMO (Academia Música Online) is a project of Schimansky Musik: an online music academy with video lessons, masterclasses and live lessons. By creating your account you accept these conditions.

You can book a free trial lesson by choosing a teacher and a time, with a student account and a card saved with Stripe. Saving it doesn't charge anything. 7 days after the trial lesson your first fee is charged to that card and your monthly subscription starts automatically, at the same time every week, unless you cancel before then. You accept this by ticking a box when you book. You can cancel without paying anything until the moment of the first charge. If you don't show up to the trial lesson and don't cancel, your subscription starts anyway. The trial lesson is one per person. Your first lesson with your teacher is a free trial, and it lasts as long as your weekly lessons. It's a chance to get to know them, for them to get to know your level, and to see what a live lesson is like.

• Private lessons work by monthly subscription, with one lesson a week. Recorded courses are bought by block or as a whole level, with one payment per purchase. All payments are made through Stripe.
• The length of each lesson and its monthly fee are set by each teacher, within certain limits. You will see your teacher's before booking and they stay fixed for your subscription even if the teacher changes them later.
• The monthly subscription renews automatically until you cancel it.
• If you choose to pay for the full year, all 12 fees are charged at once, the plan lasts 12 months and doesn't renew by itself. Once charged, it can't be cancelled from the website: write to the academy. After 30 days from the charge you receive a Thomann gift voucher (€25 with the dynamic lesson and €100 with the intensive one), which you will see with its code in "My lessons".
• The fee is charged on the 1st of each month. The first fee is the proportional part of the month from the first charge until the following 1st.
• If you have already used your free trial lesson, you subscribe without it and the first fee is charged when you book, to the card you save.
• You can cancel from your account. If you cancel after the first charge, your lessons continue until the end of the month you have already paid. {{refunds and right of withdrawal (legal review)}}
• If you miss a lesson, it is lost. If you tell your teacher at least 48 hours in advance, they may move it to another time if they can, always at their discretion.
• If a payment fails, we retry on the 5th and the 15th. If it can't be collected, that month's lessons are suspended and the amount remains pending.

Your account is personal. You may not share your access or download, copy or redistribute the lessons.

The lessons, videos, texts, brand and logo belong to AMO and Schimansky Musik or to their authors and are protected by law. You have a personal permission to view them while your subscription is active.

We do our best to keep the service running without interruptions, but we can't always guarantee it. Learning music takes practice, and we can't promise specific results.
